I currently don't have a smartphone. I almost made the transition when I had to replace my cell phone last year. But I wasn't compelled to take on the added expense given the current features and data plan pricing. I want a device with WiFi support so I don't have to eat up my data plan. But when I do need my data plan, it should be affordable and meet my needs.

The iPhone is a great product, but I'm not keen on letting Apple control our destiny with their closed, proprietary business model. Also, I'm a Bell Mobility customer, not a Rogers customer.
